Fergus has honed his skills from a young age, starting his journey with Soccer Experience FC in Malaysia before embarking on numerous international football tours. He has competed against top academy teams from Europe, including Atlético Madrid, CA Osasuna, and Rangers, gaining invaluable experience and exposure. His football development continued with training stints at renowned clubs such as Leicester City, Sunderland, and Johor Darul Ta’zim, where he played a vital role in their 2022 Malaysia Premier League title win.

At just 21 years old, Fergus has already made significant strides in his professional and international career, including scoring a debut goal for Chonburi within 18 seconds and representing Malaysia at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games and AFF U-23 Championship.
